This APP activity provided the opportunity to exchange experience between Europe and China on the implementation of their respective passenger rights regulations. From Europe, experts included representatives from the European Commission, National Enforcement Bodies, IATA, consumer protection and claim agencies.

 

On the Chinese side CAAC and Air China contributed with presentations. The exchange was very fruitful and included many aspect on passenger rights including regulatory conception, implementation and enforcement.

 

It allowed to identify commonalities and differences on how these rights are implemented in both regions.
