The workshop brought together close to 200 participants from government, industry and academic institutes.

On the first day of the event, ATMB and EUROCONTROL Network Manager presented on the strategic planning and ATM challenges in China and Europe respectively. The main workshop contributors were ATMB, EUROCONTROL Network Manager, ROMATSA, Air China, and KLM. The event resulted in the exchange of useful and valid references for the continued development of air route network functional design and operational concepts, and the authorities on both sides expressed the willingness to continue cooperation in this domain.
